Abel, Enoch, and Pleasing God

This sermon argues that the respective sacrifices offered by Cain and Abel were reflections of what was in their hearts and thus tells us much about what these men truly believed. Enoch, we are told, was a man of faith and his faith was manifested by how he lived. We are also told about two important perspectives with respect to facing difficult situations, firstly, that God is truly God and thus is the one who is working all thing according to His will and secondly, that the circumstances He brings into our lives are for the purpose of rewarding us.
