You Must Worship God and God Alone

In so many ways, the first commandment is the foundation of the other nine. In it, God calls us to live a God-centered life. What does the first commandment require of you and I? First, that we acknowledge the self-existence of God, and deny the existence of other so called gods. Second, it requires us to worship God alone. Third, it requires us to love the Triune God supremely above all other people or things. And fourth, it requires born again Christians to be faithful to God even as a wife must be faithful to her spouse.
