Response to Enemies and Evil

The government has the right and the responsibility before God to mete out punishment for sin. But I, as an individual, do not have the right to take revenge and personally avenge wrong that have been done to me. Look at verse 17 with me. Paul says, Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.
