Imitators of God as Beloved Children

Who are we, really? Current thinking suggests we can work this out for ourselves. Rather, God has made us in his image and we truly find ourselves when we know we are his beloved children and imitate him. Can we see ourselves this way? Christ shows the way, as he imitates God in love of us, in laying his life down for us. It is though him that we know we are God's beloved children. Our self-discovery is settled here, and Imitating this God is not hard!
