The Israelites come a rather circuitous way to get to the Red Sea. Pharaoh repents of letting them go. He has come out to fight against them and overcome them. But the LORD is their defense. We read of the first murmurings of Israel against the LORD. This issue dogged Israel their entire journey through to the promised land, and it plagues many of the people of God. This is the topic that we will close this service with today.
