Passion of our Prayers

What is your Passion? What drives your view of God, your life and your prayers?

We must have prayers that are God focused. How do we do have God focused prayers?

1. Notice the first one here. Paul's prayer expressed thankfulness for what God is doing v 15-17

a. We need to be thankful for what God is especially in others.

b. We should be thankful because God is the author of faith.

c. We should be thankful for love

2. We should be thankful for love

a. Paul prayed that people would see 3 things.

1. God's Great Plan v.18
2. God's Power v. 18-19
3. God's Great Person v. 20-23

In conclusion Christ is awesome and worthy of everything. So when we pray let’s pray God focused prayers anchored in

1. Thanksgiving because God saves people

2. Prayers that request understanding so that people can understand God's great plan, perceive His great power, and have their focus on His great Person.

When you pray you pray this week and you will come away with a high and fresh view of God that can and will change your life. You will be more like our Savior; you will see Him at Work and that will empower you through the Holy Spirit to carry out His Plan
