Why Did The King Come?

Exegesis: The King came to consecrate our world by being our Savior (vv. 12-13a) and our Ruler (v. 13b). The King came to complete our world by fulfilling (vv. 14-15) and illuminating (v. 16) scripture for us. The King came to conquer our world through the word (v. 17), deeds (v. 18), and victory (v. 19) of His kingdom.
