Deliver Us From Evil

Our Lord Jesus Christ knew that evil will be an ever present reality in this sin-cursed world until he had put all enemies under His feet. He taught his disciples to be sober and vigilant (1 Peter 5:8) and at the same time innocent in what is evil (Romans 16:19). Is your life consistent with His call to holiness? The sermon outline is as follows:
I. Deliver us from the evil plotters of malicious violence
II. Evil must be overcome by prayer and supplication
III. Evil must be overcome by identification with righteousness
