Know the Will of God

Dante once wrote that we find peace only in doing the will of God. Jesus Himself made it clear that those who believed Him and claimed to be His followers were those who acted up His revealed will (Scripture):

'Jesus therefore was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, 'If you abide in My word, {then} you are truly disciples of Mine;' (Jn. 8:31).

Acting upon the Words of God is not only our source for lasting peace, it brings wisdom into our lives as well. Jesus, speaking in Matt 7:24, made this abundantly clear as well:

'Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock.'

Of course, before we can ever act upon His revealed will, we must first come to know it.
