The Feminization of Men

On today's program, our guest will be Dr. Randy Stinson, Executive Director of The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood - an organization dedicated to "Helping the Church Deal Biblically with Gender Issues". During the broadcast today we will discuss Dr. Stinson recent article, entitled "Show Yourself a Man" that appeared in Southern Seminary's magazine, "The Tie". This article deals with David's final instructions to his son Solomon found in I Kings 2:1-9. There David begins his admonition by stating that Solomon should show himself a man. Dr. Stinson writes, "In other words, he should demonstrate his manhood. He should do things that men are supposed to do... it gives a glimpse into David's understanding of what it means to be a 'man' after God's own heart."
