God Hates Divorce

Let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. Treachery implies hidden sin. Though God hates divorce, He does not forbid it. If the marriage covenant is broken, the offending party may be sent away. The marriage covenant may be broken by adultery or willful desertion.
