Hollywood! Why Time Travel? And why are they so completely wrong about it?

332 ( 302 | 30 )

Today is not Cinco De Stevo. That was yesterday. All the emails and letters he received were greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Today we lay out what is probably the most essential to study in Joel; it would be the “Behold”s.

Joel 2:19, 3:1, 3:7
As well as Joel 2:12, 2:27, 2:30, 2:32, 3:3, 3:15.

He says that 3:1 is most important. And Joel 2:32 is the great “Whosoever” of Scripture. Our pastor goes on to discuss many of these great verses and their ramifications. I wish I could get all of you to listen. The church of today has left this kind of deep teaching long ago.

The verses starting at Joel 3:1 are very often mistimed. When it says “in those days and at that time…” Joel is dealing with the 75-day interval.

But why are we talking about this incredibly hard passage of Scripture when we could be talking about Time Travel and Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD? Who says we are unwilling to give people what they want to hear? Actually, it’s because our pastor just can’t help himself. He is fascinated with Time and completely incredulous of these shows. But at least he is willing to help us see the falsehoods they spew out on a regular and constant basis.

Ooo… now we’re in a discussion of people who think they can grab the writing implement of Christ and blot themselves out of the Lamb’s Book Of Life. Our pastor even relates this to those TV shows. He is a professional. Please, do not try this at home.

Where does space come from? Where does time come from? Or math… and he goes on, and on.

I should stop here. And a hush falls on the crowd. Will he actually do it? All right, I resemble that remark. Get out your notebook and your TextBook and press play.
