God's Final Word: Introductory Message

The main objective of Hebrews is to warn wavering saints not to throw away their confidence in Jesus when trial and persecution comes.

Perseverance is the mark of a true believer. Thus, Hebrews is a book of warnings.

We see a similar pattern that God have to Moses in the song He gave (Deut. 31:19-20). God's portion is His people, but often they are tempted to fall away due to discouragement. We need to keep our focus on Jesus and press on toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ.
