Gold Star Mom: Khan Overblown

Navy SEAL Gold Star mother Karen Vaughn—Senior Military Families Advisor for Concerned Veterans for America (CVA)—will be on the program today to discuss her work to promote Veterans and share her personal experience. Her son Aaron Carson Vaughn (SEAL Team VI) was killed in action in Afghanistan when a chopper carrying thirty Americans was shot from the sky. Now she works to promote the values he lost his life defending—while educating the public about our broken VA system and other critical issues impacting Veterans.
