The Bread of Life Pt 1

WARNING: This is not a very politically correct Bible study as Brother Jon names Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, & Bill Hybels as using unBiblical methods to present Christ & their "gospel."

John 6:27, "Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man shall give to you, for on Him the Father, even God, has set His seal."

Too many people today, in the name of Jesus, are only seeking Jesus for what they can get from Him. Jesus has become something we add to our lives, rather than being very eternal life. & the preaching that comes from many pulpits in America today: from Joel Osteen; Rick Warren; Bill Hybels, & other such men that use prosperity doctrine, felt needs & seeker sensitivity approaches to the gospel are outright blasphemous against the Word of God. "Give Jesus a try…" they say. "Come to Jesus & you'll be able to get off drugs…" "Come to Jesus & you'll be able to get off alcohol…" "Come to Jesus & you'll be able to get your marriage fixed… or your bank book straightened… or your family sorted out…" THAT'S NOT THE GOSPEL CALL! HERE'S THE GOSPEL CALL: COME TO JESUS BECAUSE HE'S THE SON OF GOD; HE'S SAVIOR & LORD; "FOR HIM HATH GOD THE FATHER SEALED" AND HE IS WORTHY OF WORSHIP WHETHER WE ARE SAVED OR SENT TO HELL!
