David's Covenanting Our Duty Also 1 of 2

Manton was a covenanted English Presbyterian (he swore the Solemn League and Covenant). He was also chosen to write the 'Epistle to the Reader' in the Westminster Confession of Faith (which speaks volumes as to his credibility among the preachers and scholars of his day).
