A Place for God's Deceased Elect

When Lazarus died the angels carried him to Abraham's bosom. Only the elect, like Abraham will be there. And, it is a veiled way of speaking of heaven. The "rich man" typifies false religion generally and corrupt Judaism particularly. He had no heart for heaven in this life and no place in the next life. The message also explores the resurrection of God's elect. They are called "the just". These two truths give great assurance to the Lord's people.
