The Summing Up

The great Welsh minister/medical doctor Martyn Lloyd-Jones used to say that it was perhaps THE most common pastoral problem that he faced… When he asked a person, “Are you a Christian?” and they answer, “Well, I’m trying to be one” or “I’m trying to become one” and “The Doctor” said, “That answer made clear to me that this person just doesn’t GET IT…doesn't understand the first thing about what the Christian message really IS.”
