LBCF Chapter 16: Of Good Works, Part 2

The 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith is a very accurate description of what our church believes the Bible says on a host of topics. This message is an overview of Chapter 16 and covers the important subject of Good works.

        On the goodness of good works… “The source of life is not stepping on the heads of others to get find life.  This is the philosophy of the world.  God says, deny yourself, love me and others more than yourself and you will find life!  Why should we be rich in good works?  Because good works are good for us! This is the path of real blessing, LOVE GOD AND OTHERS MORE THAN YOURSELF!! As you pour yourself out for others God will be pouring Himself into you!  It is always a win-win when we are rich in good works for God's glory.
