God Is My Salvation

In Isaiah 12:1-6, we witness 2 verses of a song of praise.
I. Verse 1:
Thanksgiving and proclamation—salvation.
A. The congregation is called to give thanks for
their salvation (v. 1).
B. The congregation proclaims their trust in the
God of their salvation (vs. 2-3).

II. Verse 2:
Thanksgiving and proclamation—His name and His
deeds.
A. The congregation vows to:

1. Give thanks to Yahweh (v. 4a).
2. Call upon His name (v. 4b).
3. Make known His deeds (v. 4c).
4. Proclaim His name is exalted (v. 4d).
5. Sing praise to Yahweh for His works
   (v. 5a).
6. Make Yahweh known in all the earth
   (v. 5b).

B. The congregation is called to shout and sing
for the Holy One of Israel is in her midst (v. 6).
