Because of the wonderful grace of God that delivers us from sin's penalty and power, we who trust in Jesus Christ have an obligation not to continue in the path of sin and death but to live new lives in the power of the Holy spirit. Life in the Spirit is not a life lived in fear of reprisal or punishment, but a life lived in loving response to our Father who loves us and adopts us as his very own.
