Mercy Remembered

While God alone saves and judges, He has entered covenant with His own and they are expected to seek Him and support His work with their prayers and vigilance (Isaiah 62:6–9). In Chapter 63, the prophet discovers that the Lord comes with anger because His people have not keep covenant. They rebelled and grieved His Spirit. The consequence was that they had "become like those over whom you have never ruled." This certainly describes the church in our age. We need to humbly seek His face and repent. We must see revival in our days.
