The Wisdom and Folly of King Saul

Saul realized his need for help and mercy from the LORD. These recognitions indicate some wisdom on his part. However, Saul behaved foolishly as well. He acted impatiently and legalistically. His disobedience teaches us two very important lessons: We must not take sin lightly; and we must walk by faith and not by sight.
