Every Knee Should Bow

Scripture compels us to constantly consider the cross of Jesus as our mind-set for daily living. Instead of living to get, we imitate Jesus when we live to give, and give, and give still more. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus...” Philippians 2:5 (NKJV) Philippians 2:5-11 presents us with one of the greatest statements of Christ’s stunning humility cling to His divine privileges, but humbled Himself the cross. This great hymn of our faith is given in the context of an ethical imperative: we, too, must die to self and serve Him. Our highest joy is found in a life of serving the Lord Jesus.
