Raised in a puritan home, Oliver Cromwell became one of England's most influential leaders in her history. Leading the Old Iron Side Army, Cromwell was able to over throw the wicked king, Charles 1st and become the Lord and Protector of England. His army was known for being virtous and godly in their practices, singing Psalms and reciting the Westminister Confession Faith while marching into battle. Cromwell sought a nation that kept Christ as the true federal head.
