John 43 - Washing Feet Forgiveness Metaphor

Jesus washing the Apostle's feet was not simply a demonstration of leadership by service; it was a metaphor of forgiveness of each other just as Christ had forgiven them. Without forgiveness the apostolic group would have quickly fallen apart after Christ's death, destroying the Gospel.
