The Uselessness Of Continual Regret
Though we live in a society with increasing numbers of people who no longer possess a properly functioning conscience, people "past feeling seared with a hot iron;" yet there are considerable numbers of people in our assemblies whose conscience works with acute penetration. Some of these live in continual regret. They dwell in sorrow for sin which on one hand is good, but on the other hand, even godly sorrow is not to be an abiding condition. Do you, or does someone you know think like this practically all the time: "If only I did not do this or that, but I did. If only I would have done the right thing when I had the chance, but I didn't. If only, If only...."? You should listen to this sermon.
