Forgive Us As We Forgive

The Gospel of the Kingdom - Message 42 - Forgive Us As We Forgive - Matthew 6:12, 14-15. Forgiveness means "to let go" or "to release from an obligation" and in the life of a believer there are 3 kinds of forgiveness we deal with: 1. Positional Forgiveness (Justification), 2. Relational Forgiveness (Sanctification), and 3. Forgiving Others. In our text we learn that we do not earn forgiveness through forgiving others, but we forgive others because we have been forgiven. Why forgive? And how often? Jesus and John teach us how to live a forgiving life.
