Striving Together for the Gospel

Striving together for the faith of the gospel means that we are striving against the devil's efforts in trying to prevent us from sharing the gospel. It means that in the process of sharing the gospel that we keep going, that we stay engaged, that we know what to say in tearing down the unbelievers' strongholds.

It means there is prayer, taht we are asking and trusting God to do what only He can do. It means that we share the whole truth of teh gospel and we share it clearly, accurtely, completely, and without confusion.

It means that we are striving together for the sake of the gospel to evangelize as a team in prayer, counsel, serving, loving one another, and proclaiming the one and only gospel.

It means that we are not alarmed at the opposition that will surely come as the opposition mounts its defense. Being attacked by enemies of Christ is a sign to the saved that you are headed to glory, which is cause for hope.

Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous?! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
