Confidence in the Face of Death

As Christians, we need to have the proper perspective about this subject that impacts every one of our lives. How will you face death? Do you have a fear of dying? Are you confused about what happens after a child of God dies? Have you made your preparations for that day? This message is not meant to be morbid. The gospel is good news, and I desire that everyone knows what to expect on one of the most important days of your life—your last. This morning the title to this message will be “The Believer’s Confidence in the Face of Death.” We will consider 1) The Afterlife- v. 1 2) The Anguish of this Life 3) The Assurance of Heaven-v.5-8 4) The Aim in Life v. 9-11
