Christ Describes His Followers #2
Series The Gospel Of John
30
The first two points are dealt with in the previous sermon, "Christ Describes His Followers #1."
1-The Christian is one in whom the triune God has worked.
2-The Christian is one to whom God's name has been manifested.
This sermon deals with point #3:
3-The Christian is one who manifests a distinct, definite attitude toward the Word
of God.
--One of the primary reasons Jesus came
was to declare the truth of God.
--The Christian has positively responded
to this truth of God. This is evidenced
by these four words: received,
believed, known (persuaded), kept.
