Would God Throw You to Lions?

Even though he had prayed for God to help him, everything seemed to be going wrong. Corrupt officials succeeded in their plot to have him arrested, have the king's hand moved against him, even have him thrown to the lions. Has God heard his prayer?
Only after this entire calamity had fully played out, can we see how God not only answered Daniel's prayer, but answered him in an astounding way that sent ripples through all of history, right down to you, reading this page.
So, considering how God worked for Daniel's good and His own glory through what Daniel suffered, would God throw you to the lions?
