Jesus, the Multitudes and the Demons

In this passage we see 1) The righteousness of Jesus on display. He is worthy of our trust. 2) The crowding and pressing multitudes, many of whom were desperate for mercy. 3) The trembling demons who fell before Jesus and confessed Him as the Son of God. We deal with many questions about demons. How much control do they have over their host? How does a person become possessed? Are there demons in America today? If so, where? Why don't we recognize demon possession? Why was it so easy for first century Israelites to recognize someone as demon possessed and yet we know of no one who is?
