Exegesis: The Good Shepherd is wholeheartedly committed to God's flock's salvation. Christ willingly sought (v. 11), sacrificially bought (vv. 12-13), thoroughly loves (vv. 14-15), and majestically unifies (v. 16) His lambs. The Good Shepherd is wholeheartedly committed to God's flock's success. The resurrection provides all the power (vv. 17-18) and encouragement (vv. 19-21) the sheep need.
