Vanishing Beggar's Gold 3

101

"Let me write the songs of a nation-I don't care who writes its laws." (Andrew Fletcher)

The world is breathing-speaking-teaching, all the time. The music culture and the media relentlessly tell us what to think, what to hold as valuable, what is normal and what is not, what is acceptable and what is not, which authorities should command the final say in the way you live, think and speak.

God has something to say against the screaming onslaught of the music culture that is chewing us, ready for the swallow. What the world is saying is evidence of what God is saying. Within the heart of every living person is a restless craving for personal gratification in every area of human experience, as long as that experience excludes God. The displeasure of God beams down upon the conscience of those who have not yet so scorched it to the point of insensitivity. Yet God's declaration persists.

God is angry. Why is God angry? In Romans 1:18-32 He levels His accusations. The Righteous God MUST stand against the fermenting disease of human hostility and sin. What God has done is; abandon hostile people to their sins. Some will experience such misery that it will be the instrument God uses to save them. Some, however, will become progressively hardened by the suffering, curse God and die.

In this message there is bristling HOPE. While God is angry, He is also saving people from that very anger. Will He save you as you listen to this next part of Vanishing Beggar's Gold.
