The Lord Shut Him In

The ark had a door and this door is also a picture of God's purpose. The door was open for a time, for Noah and his household and the animals to enter. And then at the appointed time, the time when God would bring the judgment, the door would be closed. The Lord's shutting the door of the ark is meant to instruct us concerning God's great purposes and our great responsibility to repent and to enter into the ark of Christ's salvation before our life ends and the judgment comes. What I want to do this morning, is to show you more of this truth of God's great purposes and our great responsibility in relation to God's shutting Noah in. Let me give you 3 observations.
