The Scattered Church

'To the 12 tribes scattered' What is James talking about? To find out we need to turn to Acts 8:1,4 and then 11:19. It is a church fleeing the persecutions. And that is the repeated scene of the early church in Acts. What we see is a bold and fearless group being driven out of place after place by persecution. There are no less than 47 different times of persecution recorded. And what is the response of this persecuted and scattered group of people so much like you and me?
