Remembering Albert Eugene Severance

On Thursday, August 2, 2018, Albert Eugene Severance, age 57, took his last breath with peace in his heart, knowing that his spirit and soul would soon be absent from his corruptible body. He is now standing in the presence of his great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The day prior to Albert’s home-going he affirmed coming to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ while serving his country in the US armed forces. He said that he met the Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, by reading the Written Word, the Bible.

While praying the day prior to his death, Albert told the Lord of Glory, “this is where the rubber meets the road,” referencing the strength of his faith – in light of his imminent demise. Albert now has joined that wonderful company of the “great cloud of witnesses” – the men and women of Faith listed in Hebrews eleven.

At this present hour, Albert still desires all his friends and family to come to a saving knowledge of the Creator of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ.
