Sermon Title: The Battle Plan 2

Ephesians 6:10-17/Ezekiel 26:2-5

Thesis: There is an on-going spiritual battle going on in which the Christian must live according to the plan God has given to us in the Bible - instructions on how to go into daily war against the enemy of this world.

The battle brief let's us know:

1. WE HAVE A SUPERNATURAL ENEMY
2. BE PREPARED
3. SUPERNATURAL ENABLEMENT - STRENGTH OF GOD
   • A Defensive position, resist, v13
   • Be in submission to God
   • Pray
   • The courage and strength received from God
   • Stand Firm
   • Jude 8-10, 2 Cor 10:3-6
4. SPIRITUAL EQUIPMENT - ARMOR V 14
   • Belt of Truth - recognize what is true
   • understand the truth by the power and grace of God
   • Don't doubt in the darkness what you have learned in the light
   • Pull in all the loose ends of your life with Truth
   • 1 Peter 1:13-14

CONCLUSION: All our strength comes from God alone, Christ alone. Are you committed to the battle God has called you to fight? Rom 6:11-18
