The promise that salvation is God's gift is confirmed to Israel and extended to include also the Canaanite, Rahab:

1. Through Rahab God confirms to the Israelites that salvation is by grace alone.
2. For Rahab confirms that salvation is received by faith.
3. To Rahab and the Israelites God confirms that salvation is through the blood of Jesus Christ alone.
