We are a community of God's elect - chosen to be his own. The church and the gospel go hand in hand.

This is God's continuing pattern and purpose for the church. The gospel comes and is received, then the gospel is proclaimed.

The gospel comes in word, and in the power of God.

The spoken word is the method of proclaiming the gospel, not with signs and wonders!
