Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Men

Today there is no 'peace on earth, goodwill to men" as our world is racked with wars, violence, and strife. Will there ever be a time when on planet earth there will be peace and goodwill toward men? One day when Jesus Christ establishes His kingdom here on earth, peace and goodwill will reign. For the vast majority of those in the kingdom will be Christ followers, having been born again by the Spirit and thus filled with the Spirit. Children born into these family will have at least 100 years to make their choice concerning Christ. Jesus will be ruling the world in righteousness, holiness, and truth. The curse that had been placed on creation at the fall of man will be partially lifted by God thus creating a perfect environment in which to live and world. And the vast majority of mankind will be at peace WITH God, and thus at peace with one another. The great war machines of nations will be dismantled and the resources will be used for domestic purposes. During this kingdom age, the world will experience universal peace because the Prince of Peace will be ruling over all. Now while there is no peace on earth, good will toward men today., we can know the peace of God which surpasses all understanding when we make our peace with God. We can have peace in our hearts resulting in good will towards men.
