Jesus Declared His Authority

The particular call is saving and irresistible. It proceeds upon the eternal election of God of some to salvation. The call rests upon the exclusive justification at the cross. The call is by regeneration and the preaching of the gospel of grace conditioned on Christ alone. Its purpose is to reveal the gospel to the mind, fire the emotions and move the will to repentance and faith.
