Suffering and the Glory of God, Part 3

These two passages became ch. 4 "The Gift" and ch. 5 "The Fellowship" in The Cup and the Glory. These two passages so changed my theology and understanding of God. Phil. 1:29 presents suffering as a gift from God. Phil. 3:10 tells of Paul knowing Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of HIs sufferings. These two verses give us a much deeper understanding of how God views suffering to bring about Christlikeness in our lives--all for our good and His ultimate glory,
