Look! Listen - And Overcome! Pt. 1

The Bible provides us with what we need - an unveiling of that which lies behind and unseen. Its first words are a perfect example: 'In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.' How would we have any knowledge of this apart from revelation? The Bible draws the curtain back. Or consider the 'mystery' that the Apostle Paul speaks of. We came to know it by revelation; by an unveling effected for us by God Himself. The author of Hebrews speaks of this in Hebrews 1:1-2. The Lord Jesus Himself is 'revelation.' John speaks of the fact that Christ is the Word of God. No man would ever come to know of this great salvation in Christ if it were not for 'apocalypse.' REVELATION. Our study of this great book of the Bible will be 'revealing' to us as we study it!
