Israel's Fall & the Gentiles' Salvation

Since Israel had rejected Christ, has God cast away His people, Israel, so that He no longer will deal with them? The Apostle cites two examples, one that involves Elijah the prophet, and the other of himself to show that God has a remnant according to the election of grace even today. More about God's future dealings with Israel in the next study. In the meantime Paul states that God chose to provoke the Israelites to jealousy by calling the Gentiles to salvation. What a blessing it is that the gospel has come among the Gentiles so that they might be saved.
