Paul and the Faithful Many

It's said there are no atheists in foxholes. Paul faced death as he faced life, with faith and confidence, while desiring personal spiritual devotion. He turned from the self-absorbed Demas to speak of his many friends in the faith. Requesting the presence of Timothy he desired the writings that fed his soul. By his epistles we know he saw Christ in the Scriptures. He may be withering without but not within.
