Good Works

Tonight we will be studying verses 12-14 in part eight of our series through the book of Philemon. Paul sends Onesimus back to Philemon and communicates to him, at a deep heart level, the personal difficulty he is experiencing in doing so. Paul has grown to love Onesimus as a father loves a son and to trust him with Kingdom-significant ministry duties. Is Paul actually asking Philemon to send Onesimus back to Paul so that he can serve him while he is in prison or is he unfolding another layer of expressing the importance of Philemon receiving Onesimus back as a beloved brother, not as a bondservant.
