B. The Qualifications of Jesus Being our Advocate (vs. 1c-2a)
• Perfectly Righteous – Without Sin (v. 1c; Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22; 3:18; 1 Corinthians 5:21)
• The Propitiation for Our Sins (v. 2a; Hebrews 9:24, 26) – Puts our Sin Continually, Appeasing God’s Wrath Forever

• Take Comfort & Be Assured of Christ’s Intercession on Your Behalf
• With a Repentant Heart, Come to Christ by Faith – the Lamb Slain from before the Foundations of the World (Revelation 13:8)
