The Rich Young Ruler

Have you ever asked a child to clean up their room before they can play, and a few minutes later, you see them playing, and you say to them "I thought I told you to clean up your room" and they look at you nonchalantly and say "I did clean up my room" so you go to their room and you look at it, and a few things have been pushed toward the closet, some of the piles have been consolidated, the top sheet has been thrown over all the junk on the bed, and so on. So you say "You call that clean???" Lets just say that between your standards for clean and their standards for clean, there is more than a slight difference.

In the same way as we shall see, there was more than a slight difference between God's standard for "keeping the commandments" and the Rich Young Ruler's!
